A. Dean Coleman served on the Boulder City Council during the 1930s. Albert Thomas and Bessie D. Coleman came to Boulder in 1904 from Iowa. A farmer, Coleman raised berries on Airport Road just east of 26th Street; he also farmed the Stillwell place just west of the Diagonal on Jay Road and the McKenzie place directly north of Pleasant View School.
